Made from specially selected hardwood, the Miniphile convex mirror is
gilded with gold leaf. Two gilding techniques have been employed producing
a matt area behind the balls and burnished elsewhere.

The mirror glass has been curved to our exact specification
and silvered to produce the reflection of the original.

A reeded and ebonised slip, as well as the twenty ebonised balls,
complete our handsome example of the Regency Convex Mirror.

Often used above the dining room sideboard, the convex mirror
will usually reflect the whole room, so the butler can keep his eye
on the dinner guests with his back turned.
