Hepplewhite Four Poster Bed

A very fine example of the late 18th century bed, featuring finely turned
and tapered front posts, detailed cornice, square tapered back posts
and a correctly copied slat base.

There are two finishes - hand polished and waxed, or painted.

Each bed comes complete with a mattress, two pillows,
bedskirt, curtains, valance, headboard and spread.

And like the best real beds of the period,
the ceiling is prettily decorated.

The fabrics used are all silks (except of course for the mattress
and pillows, which are cotton with wool padding.)

but can supply a 'naked' bed with a set of patterns to dress your own.
