Doll in a yellow silk satin crepe day dress with black picot decoration and sash.

This style has the same bell shaped skirt as the previous doll. The large puffed sleeves were just another of the many variations of the period. Note that these two dresses show the ankles - by the 1840's, the ankles were demurely covered again.
