Gallery of Dressed Dolls

All clothing on these dolls is fully removeable, either by simply untying a cord, or as a last resort,
by snipping the barest minimum number of stitches, and it definitely won't fall apart if removed.

All these dolls wear the appropriate underwear - the minimum is a chemise and 1 -3 petticoats.
Some also wear (removeable) bum rolls or panniers to support the shape of the dress.
Ladies later than 1840 wear split drawers. (Earlier ladies didn't wear drawers - it was considered 'fast'!)

These ladies are not wearing corsets - a compromise to reduce bulk around the waist.

The fabrics used are all natural - cotton, silk and linen. Lace is cotton - never nylon.

The garments are all hand sewn and nothing is 'glued on',
although there may be a tiny touch of fray check here and there.

Many of the dolls pictured here have been sold, but any of them may be done again,
depending on the availability of the original fabrics.
We can also dress our dolls in colours to suit you, and in styles to suit you.

Note: The prices quoted for each doll are for dolls dressed as described above.
Considerable savings may be made by ordering a doll whose clothes cannot be removed,
and who is not wearing a full set of removeable underwear.
